Results: Compare with the fenbid group and the blank control group, the severity of the cartilage in the sand therapy group declined significantly; The IL-1β, TNF-α level of the sand therapy group and fenbid group in synovial fluid and NO level in serum of the sand therapy were decreased significantly; Conclusions: The sand therapy give a play to treatment in osteoarthritis, this effect is related to the decreasing of cytokine in the local joints.
