Effect Of Weilngchongji On The Level Of Prostaglandin E₂ And Hexosamine In Rats Of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis

Objeqtive: To observe the effect of WeiLingChongJi(WLCJ) on the gastric mucosa level of PGE₂, HS and gastric mucosa pathological histology in rats model of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis, and to explore the mechanism of WingLingChongJi in the treatment of CAGMethods: One hundred male Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups: normal control group, model group, WeiMeiSu control group, low-dose WLCJ group and high-dose WLCJ group. Except normal control group rats, CAG model was established in other rats by synthetical method:salicylas and Nac1 were given orally once a day, and sodium deoxvcholate was drunk freely, as they are overeating and hungering, all the factors were given for ninety days. When the model was established successfully, all rats were treated with different medicines, after a month, all the rats were sacrificed, their gastric mucosa and stomaches were collect to detect the gastric mucosa level of PGE₂ and HS and observe the histologic mucosa changes by microscopy.Results: Compared to normal control group, the gastric mucosa level of PGE₂ and HS in the rats of model group was significantly lower, and the pathologic changes of the gastric mucosa were significantly worse, but after the model rats were treated with high-dose WLCJ for a month, there was no statistics difference in the gastric mucosa level of PGE₂ and HS between normal control group and high-dose WLCJ group,and signifcant statistics difference in pathologic changes of gastric mucosa was found between high-dose WLCJ group and model group.Conclusion:Protection of gastric mucosa injure is a...
