Study Of The Shengjing Instant Powder's Effect On The Seminal Parameter And On The IL-1 And TNF Levels In Idiopathic Oligo/asthenospermia's Seminal Plasma

Objective To study the Shengjing instant powder's effect on sperm count and motility and the content of IL-1 and TNF in seminal plasma with idiopathic oligo/asthenospermia. Method Treated 30 patients with idiopathic oligo/idiopathic asthenospermia by using the Shengjing instant powder for 3 months. Detected the sperm count, motility and the content of IL-1 and TNF in seminal plasma before and after treatment. Content IL-1 and TNF used ELISA method. Result 30 patients' sperm count and motility had an obviously amelioration after the treatment. And the content of IL-1 and TNF in seminal plasma were obviously decreased (P< 0.05). Sperm count and motility were negative correlation with the content of IL-1 and TNF, IL-1 levels was positive correlation with TNF's. Conclusion The Shengjing instant powder had the action to improve the patients' sperm count and motility with idiopathic oligo/asthenospermia. The mechanism of Shengjing instant powder improving the seminal parameter may be decreasing the content of IL-1 and TNF in seminal plasma.
