Objective: To observe the curative effect of a pure urinary follicle stimulatinghormone (FSH) treatment on idiopathic oligospermia and asthenospermia. We hope tocertify that FSH is effective and safety for male infertility with idiopathic oligospermia andasthenospermia by analyzing the density and vitality of sperm and seminal plasma beforeand after the treatment with FSH. Hoping this research will contribute to the study on themechanism.Methods:Select the patients for male infertility with idiopathic oligospermia andasthenospermia from Shandong university of Chinese medicine second affiliated hospitalreproductive center in November20101to August2012.150patients were departed into3groups stochasticly:50were in FSH group, they took FSH,once every2days,intramuscular injection;50were in Shengjing san group, they took Shengjing san threetimes a day and one day with2.3grams;50were in vacant group, they just needed todrink more water and had a good rest. There are3indexes: the density of sperm, thevitality of semen and the seminal plasma. To analyse the three indexes before and after aperiod of30days’ treatment.Results:1、The former two groups do have a better effect than the vacant group on the basis ofstatistics(P<0.01).But there was no statistical difference between their(p>0.05).2、The volume and the density of sperm in FSH group and Shengjing san group wassignificantly increased after treatment compared with before treatmen(tP<0.05), and alsosignificantly increased compared with the vacant group(P<0.05).The volume and thedensity of sperm in FSH group was significantly increased after treatment compared with Shengjsaning group(P<0.05).3、The former two groups whose sperms of rank a、 b and sperm viability haveimproved a lot than before(P<0.05),and higher than the blank group(P<0.05).But therewas no difference between them(p>0.05).4、 The compare of teratozoosperm rate before and after treatment:theteratozoosperm rate in FSH group was significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.05) andwas significantly lower than that in shengjing san group and the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically difference in shengjing san group and the controlgroup for teratozoosperm rate before and after treatment.5、The seminal plasma α-glycosidase and seminal plasma fructose in Shengjing sangroup was significantly increased than before (P<0.05). So as the seminal plasmaα-glycosidase in FSH group(P<0.01).But there was no difference between them(p>0.05).There was no significance in statistics in the blank group(p>0.05).
