| ObjectiveOne important reason of male infertility is asthenospermia,however,the etiology and pathology of idiopathic asthenospermia is unclear.Modern medical science has no effective therapy about the disease,the treatment mainly includes hormone therapy and non hormonal therapy at present,while there are some risks in hormonal therapy,at the same time TCM has some advantages in these aspects.In order to improve the clinical efficacy of idiopathicasthenospermia,attention to kidney storing essence and governing reproduction aim at regulating the situation of male infertility treatment,explore integrative medicine therapeutic effect,in order to better guide clinical treatment for clinical treatment idiopathic asthenospermia.MethodsAccording to the order of the subject treatment,eligible patients will be randomly allocated into Traditional Chinese Medicine group(n=25),western medicine group(n=25),or Chinese and Western Medicine group(n=25).Chinese and Western Medicine groupand treated Bushen Tianjing Powder plus Vitamin E and Selenious Yeast Tablets;the control group were treated with western medicine Vitamin E and Selenious Yeast Tablets;the control group were treated with traditional Chinese medicine Bushen Tianjing Powder Modified,treatment expired was 12 weeks.The three groups score CASA sperm density,progressive sperm(PR),sperm livability rate(PR+NP),kidney-essence deficiency symptoms score before the starting of treatment and the end of treatment,analyzed and statistically significant changes,to assess the clinical curative effect.Result1.Traditional Chinese Medicine group,western medicine group and Chinese and Western Medicine group did not differ in age,disease course,sperm density,PR,PR+NP and kidney-essence deficiency symptoms score(P>0.05).2.After the therapy course,Medicines average sperm densityincreased from(41.801±24.60)106/ml before treatment to(49.06±29.19)106/ml,by the average PR(19.03±9.26)%before treatment,increased to(25.98± 12.13)%,the sperm livability rate from the previous treatment(38.91±11.63)%increased to(50.81±13.44)%,the kidney-essence deficiency symptoms score from the previous treatment(13.84±3.46)desended to(8.80±3.20);Western medicine patients mean perm densityincreased from(48.59±22.20)10/ml before treatment to(57.99±23.58)106/ml,by the average PR(21.56±6.93)%before treatment,increased to(28.46±7.12)%,the sperm livability rate from the previous treatment(44.77±14.49)%increased to(56.51±14.62)%,the kidney-essence deficiency symptoms score from the previous treatment(12.84±2.39)desended to(8.96±2.88);in group of Chinese and Western Medicine group patients the mean perm densityincreased from(47.59±26.55)10/ml before treatment to(79.36±42.71)106/ml,by the average PR(21.64±8.73)%before treatment,increased to(35.01 ± 13.89)%,the sperm livability rate from the previous treatment(42.54± 11.31)%increased to(66.83±20.46)%,the kidney-essence deficiency symptoms score from the previous treatment(12.32±3.15)desended to(6.881±3.54).After the treatment,sperm density,PR and PR+NP of the three groups were increased,the kidney-essence deficiency symptoms also improved,the above differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).3.There was significant difference on sperm density,PR,PR+NP and kidney-essence deficiency symptoms score among the three indirct groups after treatment,Chinese and Western Medicine group is better than Traditional Chinese Medicine group and western medicine group(P<0.05).There was no difference between Traditional Chinese Medicine group and western medicine group(P>0.05).4.The total effective rate of the three groups post treatment:Traditional Chinese medicine group was44.00%,Western medicine group was 52.00%,Western medicine group was 80.00%,by comparison,Chinese and Western Medicine group was significantly greater than that of traditional Chinese medicine group and western medicine group(P<0.05),and there was no significance compared Traditional Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group(P>0.05).5.Compare the improvement of kidney-essence deficiency symptoms,after therapy,The decrease of kidney-essence deficiency symptoms score on Traditional Chinese medicine group was 5.04±2.21,Western medicine group was 3.88 ± 2.22,Chinese and Western Medicine group was 5.44 ± 2.26.There was no significant significance between Chinese and Western Medicine group and Traditional Chinese medicine group(P>0.05),the two groups obvious better than Western medicine group(P<0.05).6.There was no statistical difference on the total effective rate of TCM symptom after treatment(P>0.05),but the total effective rate of TCM symptom on Traditional Chinese medicine group and Chinese and Western Medicine group(72%?76%)higher than Western Medicine group(48%).ConclusionBushen Tianjing Powdercan improve kidney-essence deficiency symptoms,combined with Vitamin E and Selenious Yeast Tablets can significant increased sperm motility and improved kidney-essence deficiency symptoms,better than exclusive use Bushen Tianjing Powder orVitamin E and Selenious Yeast Tablets.Integrative treatment of idiopathic asthenospermia,have obvious advantages,is worth popularizing and further exploring. |
