Objective: The paper was fixed the effective fractions and components about resisting tumour in Ranunculus ternatus Thunb. Method: The chemical components in Ranunculus ternatus Thunb. were extracted and separated by the technique of solvent-refining. To investigate the pharmacological effect on antitumour with multiguide multitarget in vivo and vitro,we adopted two methods of MTT and SRB, and set up two models of animal S180 sarcoma and transplant tumour H22 liver cancer. The effective fractions were separated and purified with several layer chromatography of silica, reverse phase silica, Macfofeticulaf Resin, sephadex (LH-20) and so on. The structure of effective components were identified by technique of EI-MS,and 1HNMR,13CNMR,et. Result: Acetic acid ethylester extracts is the effective fraction about resisting tumour in Ranunculus ternatus Thunb. Eleven compounds were identified from acetic acid ethylester effective fraction. They are n-octacosanoic acid(I),eicosanoic acid(II),Hexadecanoic acid(Ⅲ),β-sitosterol(Ⅳ),stigmasterol (Ⅴ),glycerolβ-palmitate(Ⅵ),glycerolβ-steariate ( Ⅶ),1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid dibutyl ester ( Ⅷ),3,4-dihydroxyl-phenylalanine ethyl ester(Ⅸ),5-hydroxymethyl furaldehyde(Ⅹ) and 5-hydroxymethyl furoic acid(Ⅺ). Seven compounds, such as I, VI, VII, VIII, IX,X ,Ⅺare firstly isolated from this genus. Conclusion: The paper determined that acetic acid ethylester extracts is the antitumour effective fraction of Ranunculus ternatus Thunb. Eleven compounds were identified from acetic acid ethylester effective fraction. Hexadecanoic acid is the antitumour effective compound.
