| The body can develop a blood thrombus in the vein in legs which is called a deep vein thrombosis(DVT) . This blood thrombus can move from leg to lung . Thrombus in lung is called a pulmonary embolism . Deep venous thrombosis (DVT) is a major medical problem with significant morbidity and mortality from its associated complications, such as pulmonary embolism (PE) . It is essential to explore the risk factors and the therapy for PE . Pulmonary embolism is one of major causes of in-hospital death .The primary treatment of pulmonary embolism remains therapeutic anticoagulation. Unfortunately there are many instances in which therapeutic anticoagulation is either the contraindicated or patients have a complication of anticoagulation requiring its discontinuation. These situations include patients who are at high risk for hemorrhage (e.g., recent surgery or intracranial bleeding ) and patients who have recurrent pulmonary emboli despite therapeutic anticoagulation .The filter allowed insertion into the inferior vena cava and effectively trapped clots with much lower rates of caval thrombosis in the 1970s . With the development of inferior vena cava filter , the percutaneous placement of an inferior vena cava filter has become an accepted intervention to prevent pulmonary embolism . Percutaneous insertion of a permanent inferior vena cava filter is a classical technique for prevention of pulmonary embolism recurrence following the failure of anticoagulation therapy or its contraindication . Temporary and retrievable IVC filters appeared a few year ago and avoid the long-term risks of permanent filters .Even with the goal of preventing thrombus propagation, thrombosis of insertion site , distal deep venous thrombosis (DVT), and vena cava occlusion are complication of filters. Caval occlusion due to the entrapment of thrombus can present with progressive venous congestion if the occlusion occurs over tine or if acute can lead to significant hemodynamic instability. There is no treatment except surgical used if patients have this complication, and another filter is placed over again . This is an additional pain, risk and outlay for patients .In this article a late-model inducer-device was introduced to reduce the complication of vena cava occlusion.
