Objective: To evaluate the results of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of low extremities between thromboectomy and thrombolytie. Methods: The clinical data of 86 patients with DVT were analysed retrospectively. Patients were divided into thromboectomy group and thrombolytie group .Twelve patients were treated by thromboectomy using Fogarty balloon catheter , senenty-four patients were treated by thrombolytie (urokinase or anti-thrombus enzyme of viper). Result: During twenty-seven months of following up, in thromboectomy group : 8 cases healed,4 cases relieved, 0 invalidated ;ten cases were examinated by B-ultrasonic, 6 cases were not damaged in their valves' function. In thrombolytie group: 19 cases healed,47cases relieved, 8 cases invalidated (relived and invalidated cases were include in the sequela of the deep vein thrombosis); 62 cases were examinated by B-ultrasonic, 53 cases were damaged in the function of valves,9 case were not. There was a statistically significant differentce between thromboectomy and thrombolytie. (p<0.05). Conclusion: Early Thromboectomy is an effective way of restoring the fluency of deep vein , protecting the efficiency of organization of the thrombi to the vein value and relieving the sequela of deep vein thrombosis. Thrombolytie can only relieve the symptomation ,and can not protect the crawling and relapsing of thrombi.
