The Expression And Significance Of P21, Nm23 And Bcl-2 In Endometrial Carcinoma

Objective To study the expression and interrelationship and signifieancc of p21. nm23 and bcl-2 proteins expressions in endometrial carcinoma .Methods A total of 65 cases of andometrial carcianomas were examined for the expression of p21 , nm23 and bcl-2 proteins . These proteins were detected by immunothistochemistry chemical method (SABC method ) and analysed with statistical method . The corresponding hyperplasia endometriums and normal endometriums tissues were investigated as control group .Results P21 protein were detected in 50.77% endometrial careinoma. (?) hyperplasia endometriums and 0 normal endometriums tissues. The expressions of P21 protein in three groups above demonstrated significant dillerenee (X~2=20.5656.P<0.01 the ratio of the raletive level of P21 protein was higher in endometrial carcinomas than in hyperplasia endometriums and normal edmetriums edmetriums(X~2=9.016,P<0.01.X~2=13.708,P<0.01).Among endometrial carcinoma group, higher P21 protein expression correlated with pathological grade(p<0.05), lymph node metastasis (p<0.01);but it ha n^ association with clinical-surgical stage(p>0.05). N-m23 protein were detected in (?).79% endometrial carcinoma and had no expression in hyperplasia endometriums and normal endometriums tissues. The expression of nm23 in three groups above demonstrated significant difference (p<0.01). Among endometrial carcinoma group higher nm23 protein expression correlated with pathological grade(p<0.01)and lower with lymph node metastasis (p<0.01 );but it has no association with clinical-surgical stage(p>0.05). The expression of bcl-2 in endometrial carcinoma is significantly lower than hyperplasia endometriums and normal endometriums tissues (p<0.01). Among endometrial carcinoma group, higher bcl-2 protein expression correlated with clinical-surgical stage (p<0.01);but it has no association with lymph node metastasis ami pathological grade (p>0.05).Conclusions P21, nm23 and bcl-2 gene varird in the formation and development proeesss of endometrial carcinoma. The detection of p21, nm23 and bcl-2 oncoproteins may be helpful to predict the progress, metastasis and prognosis of endometrial careinoma.
