Obejective: To investigate the continuous changes of serum cardiac troponin I (cTnI) level, creatine kinase (CK) and isoenzyme of creatine kinase (CKMB) activites in wistar rats after adriamycin (ADM) chemotherapy pre-anaesthesia and experienced opened isoflurane inhalation and pentobarbital intraperitoneal (IP) anaesthesia methods. In order to explore the degree and regulations of myocardial injury during anesthetic stage, and provide the scientific basic for anaesthesia, operation safety and cardiac protection in the cancer patients. Methods: Thirty-two wistar adult rats were randomized into four groups: group A (accepted adriamycin chemotherapy and isoflurane anaesthesia); group B (accepted adriamycin chemotherapy and pentobarbital anaesthesia); group C (accepted isoflurane only); group D (accepted pentobarbital only). Each group of them was eight wistar adult rats. Rats of group A and B were treated with ADM by intraperitoneal injection (2.50mg·kg-1) once every two days for 11 days, and rats of group C and D were treated with sodium chloride by intraperitoneal injection (2.50 mg·kg-1) every other day for 6 times. All rats of four groups were treated with anaesthesia on the third day after the last injection was completed. (1) Rats of group A and C were selected with opened isoflurane inhalation anaesthesia during anaesthetic stage. (2) Rats of group B and D were selected with sodium chloride pentobarbital solution (30.0 mg·kg-1) by intraperitoneal (IP) anaesthesia. (3) One ml blood samples in all rats were taken from following respectively, pre-anaesthesia and 20 min post-anaesthesia. (4) The samples were...
