[Object] to study insulin resistance in the normoglycemic first-degree relatives of type 2 diabetics(FDR) and the relationship of anthropometric index, blood lipids, Adiponectin, tumor necrosis factor-αand Interleukin-6 with the insulin resistance .[Methods] A total of 80 euglycemia FDR and 30gender,age matched control subjects without family history of diabetes were joined. Fasting insulin blood lipids,adiponectin,TNF-αand IL-6 were measured in all cases, and fasting insulin for calculating homeostasis model assessment insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), analyse the relationship between them.[Results](1)Blood lipids including TC,TG and LDL-C in FDR were significantly higher than controls (P<0.05,P<0.01 ).; HOMA-IR in FDR(3.55±2.14) were significantly higher than controls(1.76±0.42) (P<0.01 ).;serum adiponectin in FDR were significantly lower in FDR than controls (9.80±4.75μg/ml,15.38±6.32μg/ml,P<0.01 ).; serum TNF-αand IL-6 in FDR were significantly higher than in controls (28.54±15.59pg/ml,12.85±5.68pg/ml,P<0.01;2.08±0.97pg/ml,1.67±0.9 pg/ml,P<0.05);(2) FDR was classified different subgroup according to BMI and waist circumference (WC). There are significantly differences between subgroups. With the increase in BMI and WC, HOMA-IR was significantly increased, and adiponectin was significantly decreased. Serum TNF-αin three subgroups were higher than controls, but not difference between them. (3) HOMA-IR was significantly correlated with waist... |
