Objective: Renal fibrosis was the common way of various of chronic nephropathy developping into Chronical renal failure (CRF) Just in our country, the occurring ratio of CRF was 1-1.5 ten thousand every year, and showed raising tendency each year. Now there were not ideal therapia to block the occurring of CRF. We should exert the adventage of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to explore new ways to hold off more effectively renal fibrosis in order to put off the occurrence of CRF. It was an important significance to improve the outcomes of kinds of nephropathy and the existing ratio.The Biejiajianwan (BJJW) came from 《Synopsis of Prescritions of Golden Cham-bermalaria》 was chosen in the study. In order to study the potential mechanism of modern pharmacology of BJJW preventing and treating renal fibrosis and provide the experimental basis for treating CRF, we detected indices such as renal function, pathomorphology (the staining of PAS, Masson)and Immune-histochemistry (CTGF and TIMP-1) by reproducing the rat model of focal glomerular sclerosis of adriamycin (ADR)...
