Objective:To investigate the influence of lead on nitrergic neurons of ileum in growing rats, to explore the dosage effect and time effect of lead exposed to by nitrergic neurons of ileum in growing rats; to provids experimental evidences for revealing the nervous poison mechanism of angina abdominalis in lead poisoning. Methods:In ord to explore the influence of lead on nitrergic neurons of ileum in growing rats, 75 male six weeks old rats were stochastically divided into five groups ,and the groups of NO.1 , NO.2, NO.3 and NO.4 were experimental group and group NO.5 was control group, 15 rats in each group. Four experimental groups rats were caused poisoned by intragastric administration respectively using 15mg / kg.bw, 30 mg / kg.bw, 45 mg / kg.bw, 90 mg / kg.bw lead acetate once a day. The control group rats were intragastriclly administered with equal double distilled water once a day .The experimental groups rats and control group rats were fed with common feedstuff and double distilled water randomly. Furthermore , rats in each group were stochastically divided into three subgroups, and the subgroups were marked with 1.1, 1.2, 1.3; 2.1, 2.2, 2.3; 3.1, 3.2, 3.3; 4.1, 4.2, 4.3; 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 in turn. On the tenth day following the experiment, the blood tension of arteria caudilis and lead contend of blond are surveyed with the rats in subgroups 1.1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, 5.1. Subsequently, the β-NADPH histochemical method was used to study nitrergic neurons of ileum . On the 30th day, the same treatments were adopted as those on the 10th day in the subgroups 1.2, 2.2, 3.2, 4.2, 5.2. On the 90th day, the same treatments were adopted as those on the 10th day in the subgroups 1.3, 2.3, 3.3, 4.3, 5.3.
