Expression of the nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB) in the nural cell of epilepsy rat and the influence of immunoglobulin on itObjective: Discuss whether epilepsy could make the expression of NF-k B in the nural cell of rats increase, research whether the immunoglobin(IVIG) have adjust to the expression of NF-κB, so that we could use in clinic.Method: To establish the control group of epilepsy rats by being inject intraperitoneally (ip) pentetrazol (PTZ). Then the rats were divided into three groups: control group, epilepsy group (PTZ-NS), epilepsy-drug group (PTZ-IVIG). When the 2nd week of experiments , took the brain make the frozen brain tissue slice. Then technique of immunohistochemistry was used to observe the nural cell and ananlyze the immunoreactivity of the hippocampus of the rats. Conclusion: 1. With the increasing of injecting ptz , the PTZ-NS group had tendency which epilepsy incubation period was shorten and the duration was lengthen. The PTZ-IVIG group which as the increasing of injecting IVIG, it had tendency that the epilepsy incubation period was lengthen and the duration was shorten .among them , a rat had never convulted on the 13th day of experiment. It had obvious difference between PTZ-NS and PTZ-IVIG group in the incubation period and graduation of convulsion from the 5th day of experiment, 2. The expression of NF-κB of the epilepsy group was increased obviously than the control group(p<0.001). PTZ-IVIG group's expression of NF-κB was decreased obviously than the PTZ-NS group(p<0.001).Result: 1 Immunoglobulin has effect on anti-convulsion2 epilepsy can make the expression of NF-κB increase in nural...
