BackgroundAs a recently developed noninvasive technology, high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) therapy has been used to treat benign and malignant tumors. We have applied the focused ultrasound to treat chronic cervicitis, which has an enheartening therapeutic effect. However, therapeutic dose of chronic cervicitis is not easy to be controled because of many variable factors including different operators, different scanning method and unclear standard of therapy, as a result, there is different therapeutic effect after treatment. In addition, distilled water was used to being ultrasonic condution medium in clinical focused ultrasound therapy for chronic cervicitis. When distilled water coupled cervix, its fluidity was inconvenient to manipulate and therapeutic effect of moderate and severe cervical erosion was decreased because distilled water could not make ultrasonic therapeutic"head"couple tightly to cervical erosion surface. How to control these variable factors has become one of considerable research directions in the focused ultrasound therapy for chronic cervicitis.Objective...
