PARTâ… Detection of the Neuron-specific enolase level in cerebrospinal fluid and serum of children with convulsionObjective: To detecte the level of neuron-specific enolase(NSE)in serum and cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)of children with convulsion, and explore the value of NSE detection for the judgement and prognosis to brain damage of convulsion.Methods: Sixty patients were enrolled,and they were divided into four groups and 15 patients in each: non-nervous system diseases group, peripheral nervous system disease group, common convulsion group, and serious convulsion group. The levels of NSE in serum and CSF were detected in four groups, and the EEG and CT/MRI examinations had been executed to patients in common convulsion group and serious convulsion group.Results:1.
