INTRODUCTIONThe ablity of invasion and metastasis are tumor cell special character and the main barrier for malignant tumor to be cured. It is necessary for the tumor to breakdown the tissue barrier made up of the extracellular matrix ( ECM) and an-giogenesis in the process of tumor cell invasiveness and metastasis. HSPGs ( heparan sulfate protoglycans) are the main components of the tissue barrier. It has been found that heparanase can degrade HSPG and coordinates with a series of enzymes and growth factors, such as bFGF, to promote tumor invasion, metastasis and angiogenesis. The main aim of this investigation was to explore the association of heparanase and bFGF expressions with neoagiogenesis, metastasis and prognosis of Breast Cancer.MATERIALS AND METHODS1. MaterialsNinety - five Breast Cancer tissue samples were obtained from patients underwent surgical resection in Liao Ning Prouince Tumor between 1995 and 2000, fixed in 10% paraformaldehyde, embedded in paraffin.2. ReagentsThe primary antibody anti - human heparanase rabbit polyclonal antibody was bought from Wuhan BOSTER Biological Company. The anti - human bFGF rabbit polyclonal antibody , the anti - human CD34 mouse monoclonal antibody,...
