Background: It has been found that the levels of serum anti-p53 antibodies elevated abnormally in patients with malignant tumors, and that such antibodies were associated with p53 gene mutations, abnormal accumulation of p53 protein in tumor tissue and bad biological action. So far, the prevalence of serum anti-p53 antibodies in primary hepatic cancer (PHC), clinical associations and value in prognosis are not well studied at home. Aim: To analyze the clinicopathological significance of serum anti-p53 antibodies in PHC and to preliminarily investigate prognostic factors after interventional treatment for PHC.Methods: The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to analyze serum anti-p53 antibodies in patients with PHC. The level of serum p53 antibodies and clinical data, i.e., age, sex, alcohol consumption, HbsAg, KPS performance, pathological diagnosis, differentiation, liver cirrhosis, pattern of growth, tumor stage, vascular invasion, remote metastasis, Child...
