| Objective To analy则the risk factors of lacunar infarction in essential hypertensive patients and to investigate the relationship between plasma homocysteine(Hcy)and tissue-type plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1)in patients of lacunar infarction in essential hypertensive. Methods Fifty-one patients with essential hypertension and fifty-eight patients with lacunar infarction in hypertension were observed. The fasting blood glucose, blood lipid, plasma homocysteine(Hcy),tissue-type plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1),activity levels of plasma fibrinogen(FIB)and plasma viscosity were calculated . To assess the relation of plasma homocysteine(Hcy)and tissue-type plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1).Logistic regression analysis was used to estimate the related risk factors of the lacunar infarction. Results The levels of plasma Hcy,PAI-1,TC,LDL were significantly higher in the lacunar infarction than the hypertension group.( plasma Hcy 22.96±4.24 umol/L vs 16.52±4.07 umol/L;plasma PAI-1 34.51±4.37 ng/ml vs 24.54±4.65 ng/ml;plasma total TC 5.21±0.61 mmol/L vs 4.45±0.82 mmol/L;plasma LDL 3.38±0.65 mmol/L vs 2.22±0.71 mmol/L ;plasma FIB was 3.69±0.27 g/L vs 2.56±0.31 g/L,P<0.05 respectively). Plasma Hcy level was positiviely correlated with PAI-1 level between groups respectively(p<0.05).Conclusion The Hcy,PAI-1,LDL may be contributed to the risk of lacunar infarction in hypertensive patients. Plasma Hcy level was positiviely correlated with PAI-1 level between the lacunar infarction and the hypertension respectively. |
