PART 1(1) Synthesis of [2-(6-amio-purin-9-yl)-1-hydroxy-1- hydroxyphosphinoyl -ethyl] phosphonic acidObjective: To synthetize a compound, 6-amio-purine-9 -substituted bisphosphonic acidMethods: 6-Amio-purin-9-yl-acetid acid was obtained from N-alkylysis reaction of adenine with ethyl chloroacetate and followed by acid hydrolysis. Then 6-amio-purin-9-yl-acetid acid was treated with Phosphorus trichloride in phosphorous acid at 80℃and the interesting compound was achieved by hydrolysis with concertration hydrochloric acid. The structure of the product was confirmed by UV, IR, NMR and MS after purifying .Results: The product was found to be a bisphosphonic acid, [2-(6-amio-purin-9-yl)-1-hydroxyl-1-hydroxyphosphinoyl-ethyl] phosphonic acid, which was indicated by the UV, IR, NMR and MS.Conclusion: Structure of the complex was confirmed to be what was designed.
