By using the method of Serum pharmaco-chemistry of Chinese Medicine,the analysis of constituents in blood after oral administration of Schisandra Fruit decoction have been carried out in order to illuminate the physical foundation of medicinal efficacy, based on the establishment of the analyzing method of constituents in vitro,the HPLC fingerprint of the preparation and determination of schisandrin and schizandrin A and schizandrin B in it were completed in order to ensure the stabilization and fidelity.Under the established HPLC condition,drug-containing serum fingerprint was set up and the constituents originated from the preparation and their metaboliates in the serum were identified by comparing fingerprint in vitro with that in vivo.As result,five constituents have been detected in the blood after oral administration of Schisandra Fruit decoction,compound IVand V exist originally in Schisandra Fruit decoction, compound â…  ,â…¡ and â…¢ are the metabolites of schisandrin.All the results provide a basic data for the further studies on the physical foundation of medicinal efficacy of Schisandra Fruit decoction.
