Background and objectiveCryptorchidism is a condition in which a testicle is arrested at some point in its normal descent anywhere beteween the renal and scrotal areas. It is a common disease in pediatric and urology.The adult patient with cryptorchidism may present with a complaint of infertility,Testiculr of human is a sort of tissue of bearing high proliferate power. Yet number of aged spermic from growed up testicle lack 20-75% comtrast with plan in born germ cell. Many studing proved that spontaneity degeneration of growing germ cell in testicle is generant by apoptosis and germ cell apoptosis abnormal manifold in not bearing man.Germ cell apoptosis is polygene process,there are many gene acting germ cell apoptosis,such as Bcl-2/Bax gene family,P53 gene,CREM gene,Fas/Apo-1 gene ,Hsp gene family and C-myc gene.Bcl-2/Bax gene family contain two gene of opposite function.One of gene is restrained cell apoptosis,such as Bcl-2,bcl-xl, Bcl-w,Bf-1,Brag,Mcl-l and A1,another is accelerated cell apoptosis gene,such as Bax, Bak, Bok,Bcl-xs, Bad,Bid,Bik,Blk and Hrk.Bcl-xl and Bad are found resently. The research of Bcl-xl and Bad do not report in the whole world.This article study fuction of Bcl-xl/Bad gene in germ cell apoptosis in cryptochidism from molecular biology.
