Endomeriosis(EM) is a common gynecologic disease which can cause infertility(>50%),dysmenorrhea , chronic pain of pelvis, and so on. Being increased every year, its incidence in women of reproductive age is 15%. Endomeriosis effects the quality of every pateint'life seriously. It is one of the most puzzling problems to many gynaecologic doctors. Its pathogenesis is still unclear. Up to now, the hypothesis of endometrium exfoliative fragments transplantation which Sampson put forward in 1925 has been accepted by most scholars. Although exfoliative occurs in almost 90%of women, not all women with menses suffers with EM. The feature of ectopic endometrium which is similar to malignant tumor has been found recently. The endometrium must adhering to peritoneum, conglutinating each other and gathering together firstly after entering into celiac on which the successful implantation and geowth of ectopic depend. Adhering is mediated by a series of intercellular adhesive molecule which are located on the surface of cells. Intercellular adhesive molecule-1(ICAM-1) is one of the super family of immune globin. The abnormal expression of ICAM-1 might participate in the process of implanting, adhering and growth of ectopic. The role of ICAM-1 in the development of EM should not be neglected. CA125 is a serum marker of epithelioma of ovary which has been studied...
