Background and Ojective: Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis (HSPN) is themost common secondary glomerulonephritis of the departmant of pediatrics. With the increase of the incidenceof the HSPN ,this diease which keeps a close relation with the kind of the renal pathology, is one of the etiopathogenisis about chronic renal failure in children and has serious harm to kid's health .The pathogenisis of the HSPN is yet unclear. In recent years ,with the development of the cytobilogy ,molecular biology and medical immunology,it is discovered that apoptosis is a process of cell ending its life initiatively according to strict and orderly oneself law under situation of physiology and pathology. The Fas/FasL system is one of the important ways to initiate apoptosis. The Fas/FasL system is one of the importmant ways which intinated apoptosis. Fas(Apo-1/CD95) is one kind of the death receptor, a 45-ku type I membrane protein, and widely distrbutes on immunocyte(such an netrophil and lymphocytes,) and cell of the parenchyma( lung ,kidney, liver). Fas ligand (FasL) is a 40-ku type II membraneprotein, which belong to the tumor necrosis factor receptor and ligand families. And Fas ligand widely distrbutes on Activated T,B lymphocytes ,CTL,MC,and so on..The main function of Fas/FasL system lies that taking part in the choice of the immunocyte(positive, negative),mediating immune responsion and killing other cell about CTL.A lot of papers have revealed the the disorder of apotosis on periphera blood...
