| Objective:To provide the theoretical evidence for the rational use of the drugs and improve the quality of pharmaceutical care to the patients by utilizing and processing the obtained data from TDM, based on the characteristics of the liver and kidney transplant patients, the monitoring of CsA and FK506 concentrations in blood and the standard pattern of the established pharmaceutical care database, a practical pharmaceutical care database management software for TDM is set up.Methods: The software is written with the current database software Powerbuilder9.0 as structure tool and the large scale relational-like database Oracle8.1.7 as background construction tool. The software includes the following functions such as data input, query and statistical analysis, with which the variation of the CsA and FK506 concentrations in blood and the experience of rational use of the two drugs could be summarized for the liver and kidney transplant patients.ResuIts:The results of the study are as follows:1. A RP-HPLC method is set up for the determination of the CsA concentrations in human whole blood , and an ELISA method is for FK506.2. The pattern of the software is PH-MM-RE based on the current standard pattern of pharmaceutical care database. It includs the following functions such as the data input, index and query, statistical analysis and data attendance., in which the report and analysis in variation of drug concentrations in blood, and the recommended orders of clinical pharmacists show the activeness of clinical pharmacists in pharmaceutical care and their responsibility and value. The software may contibute to the establishment and the development of the standard, practical and unified pharmaceutical care database for TDM in pharmaceutical care.
