Backgroud and object:The renin-angiotensin system(RAS)plays a key role in the process of left ventricular remodeling of cardiovascular diseases as well as angiotensinⅡ(AngⅡ)is the most important effctor peptide of RAS.The biological effects of AngⅡare exerted through binding with its specific receptors—angiotensinⅡtype 1 recepto(rAT1)and angiotensinⅡtype 2 recepto(rAT2).It is generally accepted that most of the biological effects of AngⅡin the cardiovascular system are mediated via the AT1.Although it is believed by many that the physiological role of the AT2 is to antagonize the effects of AT1,much more controversial is the resulting function of the AT2 in the cardiovascular system. Left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH)induced by hypertension is a powerful, independent predictor of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality;and is an independent risk factor of cardiovascular diseases complication , including coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, stroke and heart failure. This study focused on expression of cardiomyocyte AngⅡtype receptor,...
