Objective:Ventricular activation sequence is an important factor of systolic function.intraventricular conduction abnormality induce an asynchronism of left ventricular mechanical activation, that is related to the decreased ejection faction.This research studies the spatio-temporal relationship of the segmental left ventricular volume and mural strain in patients with wide and narrow QRS complex of bundle branch block and cardiac pacing using real time three-dimensional echocardiography and strain imaging.Methods:Eight patients with bundle branch block, two patients with VVI pacing,nine patients with DDD pacing and eighteen healthy people underwent the examination of real time three-dimensional and tissue Doppler echocardiography.Among the observation group,three patients of DDD pacing with a narrow QRS complex(≤130ms)and another sixteen patients with a wide QRS complex(≥130ms)on ECG.
