In this thesis, based on the level of the serum PSA ,a primary clinic criterion to diagnose the illness relating to the prostate, a bioassay screen system was established with ELISA and MTS as primary methods. With the screen systerm, the inhibition effects of drugs on excretion of PSA of LnCap cell are determined and to some extent the positive results implicate the potent information of drugs .( in general, the illness relating to the prostate will be accompanied with the increase in the level of the serum PSA.). Several drugs used in the treatment of BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia.) were screened , and Qian Lie Kang was decided to be analysed for bioactive fractions and active components, because of its potent activity and clinically confirmed curative effect . Furthermore, Brassica napus L., as the raw material of Qian Lie Kang, was also studied. 20 compounds were obtained from Qian Lie Kang and Brassica napus L. , and the structures of 18 compounds were elucidated on the basis of physicochemical methods and spectral data., of which 10 compounds are active components (two new compounds).10 active compounds were elucidated as :Kaempferol 3-(2,3-di-E-p-coumar-oyl - α -L-rhamnopyranoside) (1); Kaempferol 3-(3-E-p-coumaroyl- α -L- rhamno-pyranoside) (2); 9,12,15-Octadecatrienoic acid 1-O-β -D-fructoside (3); Hexadec-anoic 1-O- β -D-fructoside (4); Kaempferol (7); luteolin (8); Naringenin (10); 5, 4'-dihydroxy -7-(2-hydroxy-ethoxy)-fiavanoe (11); 9,12,15-Octadecatrienoic acid, 2,3-dihydroxypropyl ester (12);9,12,15-Octadecatrienamide,N-(2-hydroxyethyl) (13), in which compounds 3,4 are new compounds, compound1, 2, 8,10,11,12,13 were obtained from pollen for the first time. 8 nor-active compounds were elucidated as: Kaempferol 3-O- α -L-arabinopyranoside (5); Kaempferol 3-0- α -L-rhamnopyranoside (6); Kaempferol 3-0- (2-O- β -D-glucopyranosyl)- β -D-glucopyranoside (9); 1,2-Propanediol, 3-(octadecyloxy)(14);1,2,3-Propanetriol,1-acetate(15) ; Oxiranemethanol, acetate (16); 2-Furancarboxaldehyde, 5-(hydroxymethyl) (17); β -sitosterol (18). Compound 5,6 were obtained from pollen for the first time.
