Study On The Relevance Of Matrix Metalloproteinase-9 And Type 2 Diabetic Macroangiopathy And The Clinic Observation Of Rosiglitazone Intervence Treatment

Objective:To elevate the relationship of matrix metalloproteinase-9,white blood cell count and type 2 diabetic macroangiopathy.To observe the effect of rosiglitazone clinic treatment and investigate the mechanism of rosiglitazone protective effects on blood vessel.Methods:The serum MMP-9 was determined by ELISA in 30 healthy controls and 80 type 2 diabetes(including 40 type 2 diabetic macroangiopathy and 40 type 2 diabetes without complication).At the same time WBC count and the other clinical parameters were determined too.To analyse their association and the relationship between them and macroangiopathy.32 type 2 diabetic patients received rosiglitazone (4mg qd) for 12 weeks.All parameters were determined after 4 weeks (the parameters of 6 patients were missing.) and after 12 weeks (all patients). Analyse the changs of MMP-9,WBC and all parameters.Results: 1.In type 2 diabetic patients,the serum MMP-9,WBC count,blood glucose, blood pressure,FINS,120'CP,HOMA-IR,LDL were higher remarkedly and HDL was lower remarkedly. 120'CP , MMP-9,WBC in type 2 diabetes with macroahgiopathy were higher than that in type 2 diabetes without complications. 2.Analyse the all diabetic patients,the serum MMP-9 was significantly correlated positively with WBC. they were correlated positively with BMI, HbA1c,TG,LDL and correlated negatively with HDL respectively.
