| ObjectWe designed this experiment to investigate the differences between the nano-hydroxyapatite/chitosan- ciprofloxacin durg delivery system (DDS) and simplex nano-hydroxyapatite -ciprofloxacin, and to discuss the capability change of nano-hydroxyapatite after combined with chitosan, by observing the release of ciprofloxacin in vivo when implanted into thighbone condylar defect of rabbits.MethodCiprofloxacin was mixed with nano-hydroxyapatite/ chitosan and simplex nano-hydroxyapatite, which acted as the vector of 5mm in diameter and 10mm in height.
