Objective: To observe FOS and NOS express in brain after rat subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Methods: A classical animal model of rat SAH was established by imitation. 70 healthy rats were randomly divided into 7 groups each group is 6. namely, after rat SAH for 30mins (group I); after rat SAH for 60mins (group II); after rat SAH for 120mins (group III); after rat SAH for 6h (groupIV); after rat SAH for 24h (group V); after rat SAH for 72 h (groupVI); after rat SAH for 3days (group VII) and seven blank groups. Ra- ts are put to death after stimulus for 2 hours. Location under the microscope by using H-E staining. The varying of express of FOS, NOS in different phases and different brain tissue including caudate nucleus, putamen,globus pallidus hippocamp, nuclei ventrolaterales thalami, parvocellular reticular nucleus,dorso lateral magnocellular mucleus are examined by immuno histochemical technique. Results: the express of FOS, NOS is the lowest in blank groups including caudate nucleus, putamen, globus pallidus(GP), hippocamp (HIP), nuclei ventralaterales thalami, parvocellular reticular nucleus, dorso lateral magnocellular nucleus; the express of FOS, NOS is higer including caudate nucleus, putamen, globus pallidus, hippocamp, nuclei ventrolaterales thalami, parvocellular reticular nucleus, dorso lateral magnocellular mucleus both group I, group II and group III group IV; the express of FOS, NOS is lower including caudate nucleus, putamen, globus pallidus, hippocamp, nuclei ventrolaterales thalami (P<0.001),...
