HLA-DR expression in peripheral blood lymphocyte of premature ocvarian failure patients And 27 clinical cases analysis addition Part 1 [Objective] To study the Human Leukocyte Antigen -DR (HLA-DR) expression on T lymphocyte in peripheral blood of premature ovarian failure (POF) patients.[Methods]we conducted a case control study of 10 cases aged from 21 to 38 with premature ovarian failure in our hospital since the year 2004 to 2006. Compact their peripheral blood HLA-DR expression on T lymphocyte with healthy volunteers trough the process of flow cytometer (FACS).[Results] idiopathic ovarian failure is the most common type of this disease. The patients whose courses of POF are shorter than 3 years have higher follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteotrophic hormone (LH) level than those who suffer this disease longer, while no statistically difference shows when comparing the estradiol (E2) concentrations. The 10 patients' peripheral bloodHLA-DR expression is higher compared with healthy volunteers. While the non-menopause ones also show higher HLA-DR expression than healthy menopause women.[Conclusions] POF patients' peripheral blood HLA-DR expression is higher on T cell than women with normal ovarian function. These abnormalities either lead to ovarian autoimmunity or may have direct effects on the ovarian function.Part 2 27 cases analysis of premature ovarian failure[Objective] to study the clinical characteristics of premature ovarian failure (POF) and comparison of their gonadal hormone level.[Methods] we conducted a cohort study of 27 cases aged from 21 to 42 with premature ovarian failure in our hospital since the year 2004 to 2006. Test their serum concentrations of gonadal hormone and give an analysis of their etiological factors.[Results] idiopathic ovarian failure is the most common type of this disease. The patients whose courses of POF are shorter than 3 years have higher follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteotrophic hormone (LH) level than those who suffer this disease longer, while no statistically difference shows when comparing the estradiol (E2) concentrations. No difference shows in the gonadal hormone level whether the onset age is above or below 30 years old.[Conclusions] The patients whose courses of POF are shorterthan 3 years might have different FSH and LH concentrations compared with those who suffer this disease longer. The onset age might have no influence on the gonadal hormone.
