Protective Effects Of Salvia Miltiorrhiza And Carthamus Tinctorius Extract On Ischemic Heart Disease And Its Mechanisms

Objective:To observe the effects of Salvia miltiorrhiza and Carthamus tinctorius extract (Danhong extract)in treating ischemic heart disease and reveal its mechanism in order to provide gist for clinical using with reason.Method: 1. 30 healthy Beagle dogs were randomly divided into the model group, low, intermediate and high dosages of Danhong extract groups, and nim group. They were made into models by ligated coronary artery . EKG, ∑-ST and NST were observed and activities of LDH, CK,CK-MB and acreage of myocardial infarction were mensurated before and after ligation. 2. 50 healthy Wistar rats were randomly divided into the Veh group, Nim group, low, intermediate and high dosages of Danhong extract groups. Then they received venous injection respectively for 3 days. Blood were taken from neck sinus after the last injection, then congregate rates of blood platelet were measured by nephelometery. 3. 50 healthy Wistar rats were divided into the Veh group, Nim group, low, intermediate and high dosages of Danhong extract group. Then they received venous injection respectively for 3 days.
