In recent years, with the standard of life is more and more higher, the change of diet, increasing the proportion of high cholesterol and fatty foods, hyperlipidemia has been one of the killers to threat the health of human. Hyperlipidemia has become the focus of public concern. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), hyperlipidemia belongs to the syndrome of phlegm-dampness. The phlegm-stasis manifestations resulted from some changed proteins that are closely related to hyperlipidemia and atherosclerosis. How to from the deep visual angle of Chinese Medicine to recognize the reason of hyperlipidemia, and from basic theory of Chinese Medicine to analyse the pathogenesis of hyperlipidemia. The article makes a brief description of hyperlipidemia on phlegm-dampness and blood stasis to provide reference for the cure and prevent of Chinese Medicine.Decoction for Clearing Gallbladder Heat of Prescriptions Assigned to the Three Categories of Pathogenic Factors was used widely in clinic, which is a classic prescriptions to phlegm and damp. By using pharmacological method, this subject aimed at verifying it has influence on clearing phlegm and regulating the concents of blood.Abstract Objective: To study the effect of decoction for Clearing Gallbladder Heat of Prescriptions Assigned to the Three Categories of Pathogenic Factors on blood -lipid of hyperlipidemia rats.Methods: In this study, animal model of hyperlipidemia in rats has been established by douched high fat emulsion .Compared with Simvastatin Tablets and the capsule of Xuezhikang, the effects of Wendan decoction on serum (TC, TG, HDL-c, and LDL-c), serum Apo(A-I,B), serum Lp(a) and serum (SOD and MDA) in adult rats with chronic hyperlipidem were observed by blood biochemistry and immunoassay. Taking liver to observe patholog.Result: Wendan decoction has reduced the contents of blood TC, TG, LDL-C, ApoB and MDA of hyperlipidemia in rats. It has raised the contents of blood ApoA-I and SOD. And its function was more effective than the capsule of Xuezhikan.Conclusion: Wendan decoction effectively regulates the lipid metabbolism, prevent and treat the hyperlipidemia-induced diseases. It is applicable to adiposis hepatica, coronary heart disease (CHD), scleratheroma.
