Study Of Shenfu Injection And Intra-aortic Balloon Counterpulsation To Treat Cardiogenic Shock

Objective:To study the effect of Shenfu injection and intra-aortic balloon counterpulsation (IABP) to treat cardiogenic shock.Method:60 patients with cardiogenic shock were enrolled in the study and divided into two groups:①group(shenfu injection group):30 patients treated with shenfu injection and conventional anti-shock drugs;②group(shenfu injection and IABP group): 30 patients treated with shenfu injection and IABP, and conventional anti-shock drugs. The improvement of shock, the time of the stable hemodynamics, the days of staying in ICU, the mortality, the dosage of shenfu injection were compared in the two groups, and the time of using IABP, the complication of IABP in②group were observed.Result:①group improve symptoms obviously in 13 patients(43.3%),②group improve symptoms obviously in 22 patients(73.3%),significant difference was detected between two groups (P＜0.05). The time of the stable hemodynamics was longer in①group than②group (4.94±1.59 vs 2.69±1.15 hours, P＜0.05). The time of staying ICU was longer in①group than②group(8.6±2.2 vs 4.9±2.6 days, P＜0.05). The dosage of shenfu injection used in①group is more than②group(74.74±44.14 vs 29. 13±15.64ml, P＜0.05). The mortality of②group is lower than①group(13.3% vs 40%, P＜0.05).The time of using IABP in①group is 69.1±53.1 hours, the shortest time is 3 hours, the longest time is 192 hours. 30 patients treated with IABP in②group have no complication occurred.Conclusion:Shenfu injection and IABP to treat cardiogenic shock might improve symptoms obviously, accelerate the hemodynamic to be stable, decrease the time of staying ICU, decrease the mortality, reduce the dosage of shenfu injection. Appropriate use of adjunctive pharmacology and good nurse can prevent serious complication during IABP.
