| Objective: Investigate the effect of Profit Stomach Powder to treat theHelicobacter pylori correlated gastropathy and discuss its mechanism ofaction.Methods: In the clinical research, sixty-one patients infected withHelicobacter pylori were randomly divided into control group and treat group.All patients wrote the scale of clinical splenopathy and gastropathydifferentiation of symptoms and signs pretherapy and post-treatment. Weterminated the clinical observation after the patients took medicine for sevendays and one month respectively. Record the symptomatic integration, indexof effect and general integration of scale pretherapy andpost-treatment, analyzed the change and evaluate its effect. The mice wererandomly divided into experimental group and normal control group. In 1 weekafter the mice were infected with SSI Hp strain, animal in experimental groupwere then randomly subdivided into blank group, model group, traditionalChinese medicine small dose group, mid-dose group, large dose group andwestern medicine group, the mice continuously took medicine for 1 month.Observed and record the change of rapid urease test, the bacterial cultureeach group, and observed the organization cytomorphology change of gastricmucosa of mouse under the microscope, including HE dyeing, theimmunohistochemistry dyeing and the Helicobacter pylori dyeing.Results: The result of clinical research indicated that the symptomintegral, the curative effect index and the meter total integral had improvedpost-treatment. Comparing with the western medicine group, the treatmentgroup with Profit Stomach Powder union western medicine could obviouslyimproved patient's symptom and patient's quality of life. Its difference had statistics significance.The result of animal experiment showed that, the Profit Stomach Powderhad the certain scavenging action to Helicobacter pylori, but it eradicatesthe function western medicine treatment difference. And it may improve thedamage of gastric mucosa resulted by the Helicobacter pylori infection andthe inflammation response. In the situation of Hp infection existence, it hadthe protective function to gastric mucosa and the certain limit function tothe mucous membrane inflammation response. Also the above function had thecertain dosage dependence. Its mechanism would be further studied.Conclusion: The Profit Stomach Powder had the certain curative effectin treating the Helicobacter pylori infection correlation gastric disease,through certain scavenging action to the Helicobacter pylori, improved thedamage of gastric mucosa resulted by the Helicobacter pylori infection andthe inflammation response, protected gastric mucosa, obviously improvedpatient's symptom, improved patient's quality of life, enhanced the curativeeffect. So it made the treatment to Helicobacter pylori infection morecomprehensively, safer and effective.
