| Objective:To investigate the effect of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection on anxiety and quality of life in the population. Methods:A total of 161 people who underwent 14C-Urea breath test(14C-UBT)physical examination in our hospital from October 2020 to October 2021 were selected, and the general data of the subjects were collected and included in the analysis and investigation. The subjects were divided into a study group(people with positive Hp infection)and a control group(people with negative Hp infection),using the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and the Health Survey Short Form(SF-36 Short Form)respectively. The anxiety state and quality of life of the subjects in the two groups were evaluated, and the corresponding scores were obtained. At the same time, the research group was treated with Hp eradication bismuth quadruple therapy for 14 days, and the14C-urea breath test was reviewed 4 weeks after the end of the course of treatment. The HAMA and SF-36 scales were used to evaluate again, and the corresponding scores were obtained and compared with the previous scores. The data were processed and statistically analyzed, and the distribution of anxiety state and quality of life was analyzed, and the correlation between them and Hp infection was analyzed. Results:Among the subjects,79 were positive for Hp infection and 82 were negative, with an infection rate of 49.17%.The proportion of smokers in the Hp positive group was higher than that in the negative group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in gender, age, ethnicity, marriage, work, and drinking(all P>0.05).The average HAMA score of the Hp infection positive group was higher than that of the negative group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the negative group, the SF-36 score of the Hp infection positive group was significantly lower in the dimensions of general health, physiological function, physical pain, energy, social function, mental health, and health change, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(All P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that Hp infection was positively correlated with smoking and anxiety, and negatively correlated with quality of life.(all P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated smoking(OR=4.40,95%CI:1.33-14.52,P=0.015),anxiety level(OR=1.49,95%CI:1.27-1.75,P<0.001),general health status(OR=0.96,95%CI:0.93-0.99,P=0.006)was an independent risk factor for Hp infection. In the Hp-positive group,75 cases of quadruple eradication were successful and 4 cases failed.Compared with those before treatment, the 75 subjects with successful eradication had statistically significant differences in the scores of HAMA,general health, physiological function, physical pain, energy, social function, mental health, and health changes(all P<0.05).Conclusion:1.There is a significant positive correlation between Hp infection and anxiety state.2.After H.pylori infection, the quality of life decreased, which was manifested in the reduction of scores in 8 aspects of general health, physiological function, physical pain, energy, social function, mental health, and health change.3. Smokers, anxious patients, and people with poor general health have a higher risk of Hp infection.4.After the successful eradication of H.pylori, the anxiety state and quality of life have been significantly improved.5.During clinical treatment, publicity and education on smoking cessation, maintaining mental health and improving quality of life should be strengthened to prevent and reduce Hp infection. |
