The Theoretical And Experimental Study On The Decoction Of Peony And Liquorice In Treating Constipation Due To Exhaustion Of Body Fluid

Make animal experiment to evaluate the decoction's effect of peony and liquorice to treat constipation due to exhaustion of body fluid,and compare the difference of different medicine and dosage. Animal experiments were carried out by testing the intestinal tract motor function of normal rats and model rats,the move rate of carbon particle in small intestine,the water content in intestinal canal of model rats and the amplitude and the frequence of contraction of extracorporeal intestinal smooth muscle.The experiments were made of normal group, model group,ancient method group,modern method group,reduce pain group.The result showed that the decoction of peony and liquorice had good effect of treating constipation due to exhaustion of body fluid, especially peony and crude liquorice.The effect increased when add dosage of peony. The decoction of best dosage of reducing pain also could treat Constipation.
