Objective To study the mechanism of Shxie in progress of tumor development; And mechanism of ZaoshiXiaotanSanjie Recipe of tumor growth in S180-bearing mice intervented by Shxie. Methods Detect serum gastrin levels by RIA. Test mouse urine D-xylose content according to the literature.Detect protein expression of TNF-α, ICAM-1 and VEGF in tumor tissue by EnVision.Detect IL-8 protein content by ELISA. Results Shixie can accelerate the growth of tumors in mice, increase tumor weight, up-regulate the expression of ICAM-1, VEGF, IL-8. ZaoshiXiaotanSanjie Recipe can inhibit tumor growth in mice intervened by shixie, and reduce protein expression of TNF-α, ICAM-1, VEGF; decrease IL-8 protein content. Conclusion Shixie promotes tumor growth in mice, and its effect may be related to the increasement of ICAM-1, VEGF protein expression and IL-8 protein content.ZaoShiXiaotanSanjie Recipe inhibits the growth of tumor in mice intervented by shixie. The mechanism may be related to the reduceing TNF-α, ICAM-1 and VEGF protein expression; reducing IL-8 protein content.
