Real-time Gray Scale Contrast Enhanced Ultrasonograhpy In Ovarian Cancer

Objective:To investigate the value of contrast agent sonovue in benign and malignant ovariantumor.Methods: 17 patients with ovarian tumors were examined by real time gray-scale contrast -enhancedultrasonogrphy,using sonovue as contrast agent. Then analyses the characteristics of thetime-intensity curves in different groups.Results: There are 10 patients with benign ovarian tumors and 7 patients with ovarian malignancies.The vessel density are higher in ovarian malignancies especially in the solid area. The maximumcontrast enhanced intensities were significantly higher in malignant lesions as compared with benignmasses.Conclusion: real time gray-scale contrast-enhanced ultrasonography is useful for the differentiationof ovarian tumor.
