The Effect Of Serum TXB₂ And CGRP On Essential Hypertension With Huatanhuoxue Decoction

Objective: To observe the clinical effects of Hua Tan Huo Xue Tang(HTHXT) and effects on TXB₂ and CGRP of blood plasma on patients with phlegm-stasis blocking cllateral type of the essential hypertension (EH).Methods: 60case of inpatients with phlegm-stasis blocking cllateral type of EH from 2006.6 to 2007.4 were setected and divided into two groups randomly (treatment group and western medicine control group), and treated one of them with HTHXT and Enalapril, the other one treated with Enalapril for four weeks. The curative effect on blood pressure, Chinese medical syndromes, TXB₂ and CGRP in blood plasma were observed.Results: The total effective rate of blood pressure was 90.0% in the treatment group and 80.0% in the control group. There was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). The total effective rate of Chinese medical syndromes was93.33% in the treatment group and 70.00%in the control group, with a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). A significant decrease of TXB₂ and elevation of CGRP were found in two groups. There was a significant difference between two groups (P< 0.01),and the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusions: HTHXT vacuity is a effective prescription to the patient with phlegm-stasis blocking cllateral type of the essential hypertension.
