The Effect Of Jiang Zhi Fang On Blood-Lipidand Lipid Peroxidation Of Experimental, Hyperlipemia In Rats

Objectives:To explore the effect of "Drop Lipid Formula" on the changes of blood lipid hemorheological characteristics of the lipid—rich—diet induced hyperlipidemia rats.Methods:Seventy rats were randomly and evenly divided into seven groups. They are blank control group, model control group, high—, medium—and low—doseage "Drop Lipid Formula" groups, xuezhikang capsule group and simvastation group. Except the blank control group, rats were fed with lipid—rich diet for 5 consecutive weeks before giving medicine. Each group of rats were given corresponding medicines for 4 weeks.The blank control group and model control group were given equal volum of water as. medicine. During the 4—week medicine giving period, rats, except the blank control group, were fed with lipid—rich diet.Two hours after the last dose, rats were not given any food, but water. After anesthesizing, blood were drawn from neck artery of the rats. Proper treatments were done on the blood samples according to test requirement. TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C, Results: " Drop Lipid Formula" could reduced the blood level of CHO, TG, LDL-C and raise the blood level of HDL-C of the experimental rats.reduced MDA, raise level of NO, NOS and SOD.Conllusion: jiang zhi fang has the effect on regulating blood—lipid metabolic disorder as well as preventing lipid peroxidation.
