The Design And Realization Of Integrative Visualization Of Diabetes' Medical Records

With the development of medical instruments, treatment technology etc., thetypes and the amount of medical records are increasing rapidly, which are beneficialfor patients in examinations and treatments. However, on the one hand, these medicalrecords are either text word, or volume scientific numbers, so it is hard for doctors toacquire the information and laws from these abstract records. On the other hand, thesedifferent medical records are independent of one another. Doctors have to view themseparately, and it is hard to analyze them synthetically and effectively.Human's eyes are not sensitive to the abstract records but are good at analyzingthe information of figure. People's visual thinking can be inspired only if theseabstract records are changed into visual figures. Therefore, the visualization of recordscan help people to discover the information kept in the records.Considering the medical records of diabetes are complex, comprehensive andmultidimensional, this dissertation takes the diabetes as an example and researches theintegrative visualization method of diabetes' medical records to help doctors toanalyze the information kept in these records and to make researches on the treatmentplans, which can aid the treatment of illnesses. This dissertation is mainly containing:(?) Take the diabetes' medical records as an example, research and analyze thecharacter of medical records;(?) Research the methods of medical records visualization;(?) Design the methods of medical records visualization, and put forward themethod of integrative visualization of medical records;(?) According to the designed methods, implement the integrative visualizationof medical records;(?) Conclude and present that the investigated methods of this dissertation areuniversal. By applying the investigated methods to other illnesses, theintegrative visualization of all the medical records in the hospital could beimplemented finally.
