Traditional Chinese Compound Prescription zengling-1 is consisted of RadixPolygoni Multiflori Preparata,Radix Astragali,Ganoderma,Radix Angelicae Sinensis,Acanthopanax senticosus Harms.It has produced good effect on Anti-aging.In order toelucidate the mechanisms of zengling-1 on Anti-aging,we observed the effects ofZengling-1 on the immunosuppressed mice's immunological function.We first abserved Effects of Zengling-1 on the immunosuppressed mice'snon-specific immunological function. Objective To study the immunomodulation ofthe Traditional Chinese Compound Prescription—zengling-1 on theimmunosuppressed mice's non-specific immunological function. And observe thedose-effect relationship. Methods All of the mice were divided into six groupsrandomly, including blank control group,model control group,positive control groupand Zengling-1 (high,medium and low dosage) group. The blank control group wereintraperitoneal injected with isotonic Na chloride and other groups withcyclophosphamide. The immune organ weights were tested and the carbon clear testwas performed in each group. Results The carbon clear test showed that the index ofcarbon clear test in control group was markedly decreased while the high and middlegroup was increased.Zengling-1 had no effect on the splenic weights and thymusweights but could reduce the hepatic weights which heightened by cyclophosphamide.Conclusion Zengling-1 was showed markedly to increase the non-specific immunefunction and maybe has the protective effects against liver damage.We also observed the effects of Zengling-1 on the immunosuppressed mice'ssplenic lymphocyte conversion ratio and T lymphocyte subsets. Objective: To studythe effects of Zengling-1 on the immunosuppressed mice's splenic lymphocyteconversion ratio and T lymphocyte subsets.Methods:All of the mice were divided intosix groups randomly, including blank control group,model control group,positivecontrol group and Zengling-1 (high,medium and low dosage) group. The blankcontrol group were intraperitoneal injected with isotonic Na chloride and other groupswith cyclophosphamide. The ConA induced splenic lymphocyte conversion ratio of each group was determined by MTT method. The percentage of FL positive cells andCD4+/CD8+ radio were tested by fluorescence microscope. Results: The mediumdosage group have significant effect(P<0.05) on splenic lymphocyte conversion ratioand the high dosage group have the most significant effect(P<0.01).Each group canincrease the CD4+/CD8+ radio. Conclusion:Traditional Chinese CompoundPrescription zengling-1 can enhance the immunosuppressed mice's spleniclymphocyte conversion ratio and can improve the cyclophosphamide induced disorderof T lymphocyte subsets also.We also observed the effects of Zengling-1 on the immunosuppressed mice'shemolysin in serum, zengling-1 can enhance the immunosuppressed mice's hemolysinin serum.In conclusion, zengling-1 can enhance the cyclophosphamide inducedimmunosuppressed mice's non-specific immunity, cell immunity and body fluidimmunity.
