| Osteosarcoma is a hackneyed malignant tumor occurred in the bone., whichincidence rate and mutilating rate is high. Combined therapy is the trend of thetreatment. Objective: To study the treatment by Mylabris sidae and TCMcombined with modern medicine of osteosarcoma. Meththods: Study 37cases ofosteosarcoma Treated Mainly by Mylabris sidae and TCM in 37 Cases at theOPD(out-patient clinic) of China-Japan Friendship Hospital,some patientsaccepted radiotherapy or chems, and evaluate the clinical symptoms before and afterthe treantment, quality of life after the treatment, the rate of recurring andmetastasis and to observe the prostecdtive efficacy. Evaluate the quality of life ofthe patients by the functional evaluation criterion of Enneking. Results:Successfully follow-up visited 31 cases of all. The survival rate of one year is85.7ï¼…, of two years is 60.7ï¼…, of three years is 35.7ï¼…. There are 3 cases ClinicalReview and Analysis of Osteosarcoma Treated Mainly by Mylabris sidae andTCM in 37 Cases recurred or had newly appeared metastasis in lung. Excluding 2cases that took amputated extremity, 35 cases were functional evaluated use theevaluation criterion of Enneking. The maximum is 29 points among the total, themaxlmum is 11 points, 21.9 points in average. 6 cases are lower than 15 points, 12cases is between 15-21points, 19 cases higher than 19 points. Conclusions:Osteosarcoma treated mainly by mylabris sidae and TCM, the clinical symptomscan be improved, the quality of life can be raised and the circumstances ofrecurring and metastasis are few, the therapeutic effect in the near future issatisfactory. |
