The Research Of Association Between Platelet Glycoprotein Ia-807 Gene Polymorphism And Hypertensive Patients With Ischemic Stroke

Objective: To analyze the frequency of platelet glycoprotein Ia-807 Gene genotypes in essential hypertension(EH) in AnHui Han population. To investigate whether the GP Ia-807 polymorphisms were associated with the risk of hypertensive patients with ischemic stroke(IS). Subject and Method: 64 patients with EH, 64 hypertensive patients with ischemic stroke and 64 healthy controls matched by age and sex. The participators in healthy controls had no histories of coronary heart disease, ischemic stroke and peripheral arterial disease.In a case-control study the fibrinogen levels were detected by Clauss. The GP Ia-807 polymorphism were detected by polymerase chair reaction amplication of fragments of DNA by using specific oligonucleotide primers in a thermal cycler. Restricted DNA products were then separated by using 3% agarose gel electrophoresis and visuslized by UV light. Interactions between these changes and other factors were analyzed with SPSS statistical software 11.5. Result: (1) There were significant differences in GP Ia-807 allele distributions in EH group and control group, the frequence of GP Ia-807T allele were higher in IS group than other groups. (2) There were significant differences in GP Ia-807 genotype distributions between IS and other groups, the frequence of GP Ia-807 TT +TC genotypes in IS group were higher than that in other groups. (3) There were no significant differences in free plasma blood sugar, triglyceride levels in two GP Ia-807 genotypes. (4) Levels of blood fibrinogen and triglyceride were higher in EH and IS patients than that in other subjects.Conclusion: (1) GP Ia-807 T genotype might be a susceptible predictor of ischemic stroke with EH. (2) GP Ia-807 polymorphisms have no associations with the metabolism of sugar and triglyceride. (3) Levels of blood fibrinogen and triglyceride have associations with EH and IS.
