Study Of The Polymorphism Of ENOS Gene G894T, 4a/b And ABCA1 Gene With Cerebral Infarction In Xinjiang Kazakh Group

Objective To investigate the relationship of the polymorphism of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) gene and ATP-binding cassette transporterl ABCAI gene with cerebral infarction(CI) in Xinjiang Kazakh population.Methods The study covered 58 cerebral infarction group and 60 control group(CG) in Xinjiang Kazakh population and covered 58 cerebral infarction group and 60 control group (CG) in Xinjiang Han people population. The segment of eNOS and ABCAI was amplified from DNA by polymerase chain reaction(PCR). The PCR products were digested by restriction endonuclease.Results 1. Zhe frequencies of G and T of eNOS G894T in CI in kazakh ethnic group (0.9and O.1) was not significantly different from CG in kazakh ethnic (0.8879 and 0.1121, x~2=0.09, P＞0.05). The frequencies of eNOS G894T genotypes of GG, GT, TT were 0.8167, 0.1667, 0.0167 in CI groupinkazakhethnic respectively andO. 8103, 0.1552, 0.0345 in CG group in kazakh ethnic respectively.2. The frequencies of b and a of eNOS 4a/b in CI in kazakh ethnic group (0.8707 and 0.1293) was not significantly different from CG in kazakh ethnic (0.8833 and 0.1167, x~2=0.09, P＞0.05). The frequencies of eNOS 4a/b genotypes of bb, ab, aa were 0.7759, 0.1897, 0.0345 in CI group inkazakhethnic respectively and 0.8, 0.1667, 0.0333 inCGgroup in kazakh ethnic respectively.3. The frequencies of R and K of ABCA 17 in CI in kazakh ethnic group (0.6293 and 0.3707) was not significantly different from CG in kazakh ethnic (0.6333 and 0.3667, x~2=O, P＞0.05), The frequencies of ABCA1 7 genotypes of RR, RK, KK were 0.4655, 0.3966, 0.1379 in CI group in kazakh ethnic respectively and 0.5667, 0.35, 0.0833 in CG group in kazakh ethnic respectively.4. The frequencies of V and I of ABCAI 17 in CI in kazakh ethnic group (0.168 and 0.8362) was significantly different from CG in kazakh ethnic (0.3 and O. 7, x~2=6.12, 0.01＜P＜0.05), The frequencies of ABCA1 17 genotypes ofⅤⅤ,Ⅵ,Ⅱwere 0.0517, 0.2241, 0.7241 in CI group in kazakh ethnic respectively and 0.0667, 0.4667, 0.4667 in CG group in kazakh ethnic respectively.Conclusion The results suggested that the polymorphism of ABCA1 gene 17 might be associated with cerebral infarction(CI) in Kazakh population of Xinjiang changji area.
