| Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of the Tiam1( T lymphoma invasion and metastasis inducing factor 1,Tiam1)1 and nm23-H1 gene products and the cIinicopathologic biological behaviour and lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer. Methods The expression of Tiam1 and nm23-H1 gene products in 45 cases of fresh gastric cancer and Paracarcioma ,normal gastric mucosa were detected quantitatively by flow cytometry and indirect cytoimmunofluorescence staining and half-quantitatively by S-P immunohistochemical technique.Statistical analysis The experimental data of flow cytometry were all expressed by x±s.And all the experimental data were adopted homologously to t-test or t'-test,correlation analysis and variance analysis according to their distributions and demands of all the fators'depandablity comparison analysis. All the statistical analysis'were adopted to SPSS statistical software(12.0). At the same time, the result analysis of immunohistochemistry technique were adopted to the Chi-square test (x2) and we regarded P<0.05 as our significance test standard. Results There was negative staining of Tiaml protein in normal gastric mucosa, while the positive rate of Tiaml protein in gastric cancer was 82.22% (37/45)(P<0.01).whereas the positive expression rate of nm23-H1 in normal gastric mucosa was significantly higher than in gastric cancer .The expression of the Tiam1 in gastric cancer with lymphnodal metastasis ( 2.06±0.11 ) was significantly higher than without lymphnodal metastasis(1.73±0.09,P<0.01). Whereas the expression level of nm23-H1 in gastric cancer with lymphnodal metastasis (0.15±0.02)was significantly lower than without lymphnodal metastasis(0.71±0.07,P |
