Clinical And Experimental Study On Treating Early Renal Damage In Senile Essential Hypertension With The JiangYaBaoShen Mixture

Objective: To observe the experimental results and clinical effect of JiangYaBaoShen mixture on treating early renal damage in senile essential hypertension and explore its therapeutic mechanism. Method: In the experimental study, as pathological model, SHR (Spontaneously Hypertension Rat) were observed on JiangYaBaoShen mixture has influenced their physiological index. The blood pressure , NAG andα1-MG in urine, ET in plasma and NO in serum were all measured. In the clinical study, 50 elderly patients of hypertension with early renal damage were divided randomly into treatment group (40 cases) and control group (20cases).The patients in treatment group were treated with JiangYaBaoShen mixture and the control group were treated with Lotensin. The clinical effect was observed during the course of treatment. Results: The experimental study shows that JiangYaBaoShen mixture can promote the recovery of SHR (Spontaneously Hypertension Rat) of early renal damage, and can markedly reduce protein in urine , ET in plasma and NO in serum. The clinical research shows that the mixture has assured antihypertensive effect with bringing the blood pressure obviously down. The total curative effects of the clinical symptoms in the treatment group were better than in the control group(P<0.05). The treatment group was superior to the control group in regulating the blood-fat and hemodynamic abnormality. Conclusion: JiangYaBaoShen mixture is an effective medicament of treating early renal damage in senile essential hypertension.
