Objective:To study the changes of acetabular index(AI),femoral neck anteversion (FNA) and acetabular anteversion(AA) in developmental dislocation of the hip.Materials and methods:There were 41 children(73 hips) with DDH Collected from Mar 2006 to Mar 2007 in our hospital,and their ages ranged from 14 months to 8 years(on average 37 months),and 44 left lip,29 right hip。Normal acetabula , the normal one of the DDH ,Acetabula of I°, II°, III°,Ⅳ°and after operation of developmental dysplasia of hip were studied.The acetabula of different age were studied also.All acetabulum were scaned by multi-slice CT and measured the targets. Results:The 3D reconstruction techniques were successfully used to show femoral head,acetabulum and the relationship between acetabulum and femoral head respectively.The technique of MPR was also used to measure the femoral neck anteversion(FNA)and acetabular anteversion(AA).The FNA of normal acetabulum and abnormal one were different,AA were the same. The normal acetabulum of DDH were different from the normal children.The FNA changed with the age. Conclusions: To the degree number of FNA and AA,the abnormal are greater than normal and after operation,and the AA increase with the extent of dislocation,so they should be remedied in the operation.The FNA of normal one of DDH were greater than normal acetabular.The FNA changed with age.
